Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward confirmed in an interview Monday that he is seeking a pay adjustment heading into the 2025 season, despite having agreed to a new contract last year. Heyward signed a three-year $45 million contract in February of 2024 after the Steelers had asked him to take a pay cut after struggling with an injury in 2023. Heyward earned his fourth first-team All-Pro season last year. Heyward stated he wants to be on the field with his teammates, but will hold out into the season if necessary. He is currently outside of the top-20 in both defensive lineman and defensive tackle pay in the NFL.
