A new analysis shows the economic impact the NFL Draft had on the Pittsburgh region.
Visit Pittsburgh says the draft in April brought $177 million in direct economic impact for Pittsburgh.
It’s also estimated that the draft had $1.5 billion in economic value, which looks at future spending. That study found 83 percent of visitors said they were satisfied with their trip, and 75 percent will visit Pittsburgh again in the next five years.
However, the Visit Pittsburgh organization did not provide the full studies in the press release.
