Several local residents recently won a porch decorating contest for homeowners on McKean Street.
As part of the Butler Cultural District’s “A Taste of McKean” event last weekend, the Gasdia family (Christina, Joe and Braxton) at 716 North McKean Street won the Halloween and Fall Porch Decorating contest.
Also named a winner was Nicole Laman at 434 N. McKean Street whose husband, who loved Halloween, recently passed away. Troop and Pack 6 families of Scouting America, chartered by the Rotary Club of Butler, provided judging for this contest.
Winners received gift certificates to Upper Crust and Grows on Main compliments of Butler Downtown. Visit the Butler Cultural District website for more information.
