West Nile Virus has been identified in Butler County for the second time this year.
The Mercer County Conservation District announced that a mosquito sample in Zelienople Borough has tested positive for the virus.
Additional monitoring will continue in the Zelienople area after confirming West Nile.
A sample in Franklin Township yielded a positive test back in July.
So far, no human cases have been confirmed in Butler County.
