A Butler woman is facing charges after she allegedly caused a disturbance at a Center Township home then damaged a police vehicle.
Just after midnight on Monday, police were called to the 5000 block of McCandless Road for 33-year-old Denise McCommon, who complaining of knee pain.
According to police, McCommon said she had taken five to six doses of cough medicine and four alcoholic cocktails.
While at Butler Memorial Hospital, McCommon was ordered to stop yelling or she’d be arrested. After continuing to yell she was placed in police cuffs and transported to be formerly charged.
While in the police cruiser, McCommon allegedly damaged the vehicle while kicking. She was charged with resisting arrest, institutional vandalism, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.
McCommon was let out or prison on conditional bail and has a preliminary hearing schedule for November 18.
