The Butler Area School District has revised its transportation contract after their provider was sold.
At a meeting of the school board Monday night, members approved of amending the contract agreed to two years ago with A.J. Myers and Sons so that it now reflects the purchasing company, Krise Transportation.
According to Superintendent Dr. Brian White, Krise is a bigger company which should benefit the district when recruiting and training drivers.
Butler is in the second year of an eight-year transportation agreement.
