After a Butler man broke into a Penn Township home to steal a bottle of booze he’s been charged with a felony.
On Tuesday police were called to a home on the 100 block on K lane for a reported break in and theft. The only thing alleged to have been stolen was a $20 bottle of Quality House Bourbon Whisky.
The victim claims that 37-year-old Steven Hudson of Butler broke into the home through a window and stole the bottle out of the fridge.
Hudson admitted to police he stole the bottle and was charged with burglary and theft by unlawful taking. He was let out on nonmonetary bail as he awaits a preliminary hearing.
