A local teacher, union leader, and community organizer has formally announced his intentions to run for reelection.
According to a recent press release, Michael Bagdes-Canning formally declared his candidacy for the Mayor of Cherry Valley Borough.
Bagdes-Canning has a platform focused on anti-corruption and he is looking forward to continuing the work he is doing with borough council, particularly concerning a grant recently received from the county.
Bagdes-Canning is a longtime resident of Cherry Valley Borough and member of the Green Party.
