Butler County is issuing a proclamation to recognize Mental Health Awareness Week.
Commissioners issued the proclamation yesterday to help bring to light the number of people who deal with mental health issues.
Tim Marino of the Grapevine Center was on-hand to accept the proclamation.
“Treating mental health comes with many challenges, but the Grapevine Center is committed to serving those who need our help with dignity and respect,” Marino said.
There will also be a Mental Health Rally to celebrate the lives lost to mental health disorders today starting at 11 a.m. at Alameda Park.
