The Knoch School District will see a new Superintendent next year.
During Wednesday’s meeting, the Knoch Board of School Directors accepted the retirement of Superintendent Dr. David Foley effective June 30th, 2026.
Foley spoke briefly about being thankful and grateful for the opportunity to lead the district and he sees the conclusion of the recent construction project as a logical place to transition to new leadership. The board does not plan on posting the position as Dr. Melissa Grantz has been Assistant Superintendent for over two years and is expected to take over as Superintendent next year.
When he retires next year, Foley will have spent nearly nine years as Superintendent of first South Butler then Knoch School District.
