Cranberry Township has announced the purchase of a new ambulance being added to its fleet.
The township says that due to the expanding community the third truck would improve the capabilities of EMS agencies in the area.
The ambulance will be stationed in the Southwestern part of the township and will not be put into service until September 15.
The new ambulance will also serve parts of Beaver County.
