David L. Pederson of Cranberry Township passed away peacefully at home on Monday October 27, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.
The youngest of seven, he was born August 19, 1955 in Eleva, Wisconsin. David grew up on a dairy farm, where he often shared stories of playing in the cow pastures and hay barn with his brothers and sisters, and spent countless hours milking the cows. He was the son of the late Gerhardt and Helen (Weiss) Pederson and was preceded in death by his brothers Gale and Jim Pederson, and sisters Beverly LaBerge (Pederson) and Darlene Simon (Pederson).
David loved the outdoors—hunting, fishing, camping, or simply sitting by the campfire with a cold beer listening to music. He was happiest when he was with his family. He was truly the most selfless, kind, and caring person you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. He had a gentle soul and loved his family and nature.
He is survived by his two loving daughters Mellisa Pederson and Stacy Holmes and Son in law Jonathan Holmes, five grandchildren Odessa Smith, Orion David Pederson, Luke David Holmes, Ava Holmes and Oskar Pederson. He leaves behind his life companion and ex-wife, Becky Pederson, Sister and girls Godmother Annette Pederson and Brother and girls Godfather Larry Pederson, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
