Today is expected to be one of the busiest travel days of the holiday weekend.
AAA is projecting a record-breaking number of Americans traveling for July 4th. An estimated 72 million will be hitting the road or air for the long weekend.
One of the worst travel times is projected for later today from 2-6 p.m.
AAA also says Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. will be the busiest time on the road.
