A longtime community leader in the Foxburg area has died.
Jim Marron passed away at his home last Tuesday.
Marron was a longtime employee for Central Electric Cooperative and most recently served as co-owner of the Allegheny Grille.
He also was active in the community, coaching basketball at A-C Valley High School. He also served on the A-C Valley school board and the Foxburg Chamber of Commerce.
Marron was also an avid golfer and primarily played at the Foxburg Country Club.
Marron was 79.
