A Parker man is in the Butler County Prison after arguing with an ex-girlfriend in a Slippery Rock cemetery.
Police were called to the 1000 block of University Parkway last Thursday for a woman who said 33-year-old Jacob Trufley shoved her to the ground.
According to charging documents, Trufley followed the victim to the Slippery Rock Cemetery to confront her.
Once Trufley approached the victim, he allegedly pushed her to the ground and threatened to kill her.
Trufley would then throw the gun away and flee the scene only to come back to the victim at the Fairfield Inn and allegedly choke the victim. He then fled the scene once again.
He’s being held in the Butler County Prison on $70,000 bond and has been charged with possession of a firearm prohibited, two counts of terroristic threats, and criminal mischief.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for August 20.
