Local McDonalds Restaurants are raising funds today for first responders and veterans organizations in honor of 9/11.
As part of the 9/11 Digital Fundraiser, each locally owned McDonalds restaurant has chosen a local organization to receive 10 percent of all sales through the McDonalds app today.
The Greater Butler Mart, Clearview Circle, and Butler Crossing restaurants have all chosen the Butler Township Volunteer Fire District as their recipient. The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company will benefit when customers place a digital order from the Route 228 McDonalds and the Adams Area Fire District has been selected by the Perry Highway McDonalds in Mars. The New Castle Road McDonalds has designated the Portersville Volunteer Fire Department as their recipient while the Slippery Rock McDonalds has chosen the Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company.
Each identified organization will receive a minimum of $250.
