Two men from Butler County are receiving recognition from PennDOT for their high-quality work with the organization.
Aaron Raible of Fenelton and Greg Schnur of Butler were awarded “Stars of Excellence” by the state Department of Transportation.
Schnur is a senior civil engineer with PennDOT District 10 and has managed what officials called the “most complicated construction projects,” along with mentoring new engineers.
Raible is the highway maintenance manager in Armstrong County, where he has played a major role in installing dash cams in vehicles.
Schnur and Raible were among 30 PennDOT employees to be recognized with a Star of Excellence.
