A Mercer County man accused of sexually assaulting a minor waived his preliminary hearing Thursday.
Monday, 37-year-old Paul Rucinski was charged with sexually assaulting a minor twice.
According to charging documents, Rucinski and the victim committed the sexual acts over two days last week in a wooded area near Hansen Avenue. When questioned by police Rucinski is alleged to have committed the assaults.
On Thursday, he waived his preliminary hearing and the case will now advance to the Court of Common Pleas.
A formal arraignment has been scheduled for October 20.
