A local state park is providing a unique opportunity for guests this evening to learn more about history while enjoying nature.
Tonight from 6 to 7:30 p.m. the park naturalists from Moraine State Park will offer a Wild Teas cruise onboard the Preston’s Pearl pontoon.
This event will feature a presentation on the history of tea while attendees take in the sights and sounds of Moraine. During the cruise, guests will also enjoy teas brewed from native plants.
This cruise is set to launch from the Owlet Gift Shop launch on the North Shore with a cost of $19 for adults, $10 for kids 3 to 12 and free for ages 2 and younger. Pre-registration is required and can be made by calling the Owlet Gift Shop at 724-368-9185 or visiting the Moraine Preservation Fund website.
