Power has been restored to the Butler Area School District’s administration building following an accident this morning.
District officials say a garbage truck hit a utility pole earlier this morning in the admin parking lot on the Senior High School campus.
Power was knocked out at the administration building for a time, but has since been restored.
All schools in the district did not lose power and stayed on a regular schedule.
The accident also caused some significant delays on New Castle Road earlier this morning.
