A total of 37 individuals retire from the Seneca Valley School District following the conclusion of this current school year.
The retirees were recognized by the school board and administration during a ceremony with refreshments earlier this month.
The retirees include a High School Biology Teacher, High School Social Studies Teacher, High School Math Teacher, High School Health & Physical Education Teacher, and High School Coordinator of Collegiate and Career Affairs along with cafeteria workers, paraprofessionals, counselors, librarians, and transportation specialists. The longest tenured was Senior High School Music Teacher Bobi-Jean Alexander at over 34 years.
They were thanked for their combined over 960 years of dedication to the Seneca Valley School District.
