A Slippery Rock student is facing charges he allegedly tried to flee arrest and threatened officers.
On Saturday, Slippery Rock University Police were called to student housing facility for 20-year-old Xavier Tassel who was knocking on random doors.
Police say Tassel was covered in mud, had a knee injury, and a blood alcohol level of .216 percent. Medical providers were called to take Tassel to the hospital.
Officers informed Tassel of charges and that’s when he ran from the scene.
Officers eventually took Tassel into custody, which he then threatened to shoot the officer “between the eyes.”
Tassel is facing several charges, including with four counts of terroristic threats and evading arrest. His bail was set at $100,000 and a preliminary hearing has been set for March 18.
