The Butler Commons Walmart has donated to the Butler County Sheriff’s office to purchase emergency equipment.
The Butler Walmart donated $750 to purchase stair chairs, they are used during building evacuations and medical emergencies.
These chairs assist emergency responders transport people up and down steps quicker during emergency situations.
Sheriff Mike Slupe accepted the donation on Friday.
